UPDATE #1 – SR2448 Response, August 14, 10 p.m. EST

At approximately 5:42 p.m., Colonial Pipeline responded to a report of a product release near our pipeline in the area of Huntersville, North Carolina. The pipeline has been shut down, and first responders were dispatched to the area. Notifications have been made to local, state and federal agencies, per Colonial’s standard response procedure and regulatory requirements. Additional updates will be forthcoming.
